App2match used on a wide scale- 12 May 2011
The event app App2Match was used on a wide scale at the iStrategy Conference on 11 & 12 May in the RAI Amsterdam. Most visited features of the app were the programme and the overview of the matches. Other features included delegate overview, logistics and live feeds. Max Ford, Global Conference Director at iStrategy commented: “It’s a great tool that ensured an engaged audience. Badge2Match update Q1 2011 - 8 April 2011
Q1 2011 was very successful for Badge2Match. A couple of highlights are:
We signed many contracts a/o with Oracle and Alex van Groningen. Nederland Sport in Beweging (NSIB) decided to use us again for another event in May, after they used us in the 1st quarter of 2011.
We developed a great new event and matchmaking application for the smartphone, the App2match. More info can be found on our website.
We signed an important license/distribution agreement with Wizard Studios based in the US. Wizard Studios will purchase our badges and will be our exclusive distributor in the America. This partnership received much attention in the media in the US.
Badge2Match is pleased to announce that it secured new funding from an informal investor to develop new features and to expand internationally!
Badge2Match wins European RFID award- 29 November 2010
Badge2Match wins in Paris at the “1st European RFID-awards” the award for best start up. This award is awarded by an international jury to a start up who developed an exceptional innovative technical use of RFID technology. Ministry of Economic Affairs signs contract with Badge2Match - 16 February 2010
The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs will use the network badges at an internal event with 200 participants taking place on March 9th 2010.

Badge2Match signs an exclusive distribution agreement with Supermet (www.supermet.nl). Supermet is a system, with which retailers can themselves set up the communication towards their customers. Supermet clients vary from a single shop owner to the big retail organisations like the big Dutch supermarkets, DIY chains etc...Supermet intends to use the Badge2Match system as a special client card which draws the attention of customers to special promotions on products, effective product information etc...As sponsor of the Food Congres 2009 on October 1 and 2, 2009 Supermet will hand out to all 350 participants the Badge2Match badges to demonstrate the system.

Badge2Match wins the prestigious ICT innovation award, the “Broos van Erp prijs”. According to the jury ”Badge2Match excells in the continuity of the company, the innovation, the optimal chances for success and the market potential”. The award was handed out by the Secretary of Economic Affairs, Frank Heemskerk, along with a check of Euro 50,000.

During the national ICT event on May 18th a presentation will be given by the nominees to the jury who will appoint the winner of the Broos van Erp award 2009. Mr Frank Heemskerk, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs will, on May 27th , hand over to the winner a check of Euro 50,000 for the further development of the winning company.

The Badge2Match network system was successfully used on January 20th during the Annual Meeting of the Society Reading & Writing (Stichting Lezen & Schrijven). The Society was founded in 2004 by Her Royal Highness Prinses Laurentien van Oranje (www.lezenenschrijven.nl) and aims to bring attention to and alleviate illiteracy. The Badge2Match network system proved to be an eye-opener to many, as it brought many good matches for the attendees in an easy, fun and effective way.

The review committee for this program consists of MPI members with a passion for meetings technology. Each company’s request to participate is carefully reviewed and selection is based on three basic criteria:
The new product or service has been developed, launched or significantly re-invented in the last 12 months (thus “emergent”).
The product or service already does or has the potential to, in the near future, directly affect the meetings and events industry.
The product or service has a hands-on aspect that attendees can interact with during this session.”
Having met the commercial targets as set forward by the Dutch Government, Badge2Match has secured the second and final tranche of a 400.000 euro loan under the so-called Borgstellingkrediet regeling. As such the loan is largely guaranteed by the Dutch Government. The grant of the loan will enable Badge2Match to step up its commercial activities, especially on the international market.
Badge2match is proud to announce that it will be present at the 29th VeerStichting symposium on October 30/31, 2008 as supplier of the Badge2match interactive badge system. Badge2match successfully launched its Interactive Badge at EIBTM in Barcelona. Many meetings and demo’s were held and many leads were signed up. Badge2match will be present and have a booth at BTC International from 8 – 9 November. BTC is the number one Italian trade show and one of the bigger b2b fairs in Europe, specialised in the meeting and event industry. Now approaching its 23rd edition, BTC is ready to host, for 2 days, the most qualified professionals of the meeting and incentive demand and supply at the New Fiera di Roma. From the new location in Rome, it is BTC’s ambition to be the number one trade show for the MICE industry in the Mediterranean market.
